I remember one of my favorite entertainments as a child was hiding in my mother's cloakroom and rummaging through her old collections. The red jacket she wore in university, the pearl necklace that she wore for many years while still shiny and elegant... regardless of the years passed they are precious and irreplaceable in my eyes. Being an adult, thing I enjoy most is treasure hunting in vintage shops on trips and immerse myself in the beauty of the old days.
SHEER established in 2016. Under the brand, there are vintage accessories that I have collected over years and brand new hand-made jewelry. The most used element in SHEER design is the baroque pearl. They are as wild as abstract paintings and as elegant as classical music. Its mysterious and classic character coincide with the temperament of vintage.
I met Renee in 2020, this is the year SHEER changed and grew. She said that the first time she saw me, she sensed that something good gonna happen between us two. What an amazing experience that the first time two meet it could be felt like a reencounter of old friends. Words one wants to say, the other knew already.
Renee grew up in family rooted in jewelry industry and like to travel by herself. She thinks SHEER’s concept and design is rare and unique and she wants to introduce it to more likeminded people. We two hit it off instantly and are determined to make SHEER the ambassador of baroque pearls and vintage design. She said: "You just do what you’re good, the rest can rely on me."
